After a word from God Kairos Medical Centre opened in 1995 initially offering out-patient and laboratory services. Today it offers 24/7 antenatal services, family planning advice, immunisation, counselling, comprehensive dental treatment, complete care for HIV/AIDS among others. It also provides mobile clinics outreaches, home based care and community health advice. The Centre’s dedicated team see over 1,500 patients every month and it covers all the operating costs. Recently the laboratory was relocated and enlarged as well as all floors being tiled, improving the feel of Kairos Medical Centre.
Kairos Medical Centre birthed Kairos Hospital. Phase one of Kairos Hospital opened in November 2013 in Kigunga, Seeta, 17 km outside Kampala, an area with limited medical services. Since opening they have been demonstrating the Love of God to patients who receive top quality medical care. The equipment and initial funding were provided by many generous donations for which we give thanks to God. Kairos Hospital among many services provides General Medicine, Antenatal care, Immunisation, Surgery, Dental services and HIV counselling and care. Laboratory services, Ultrasound and X-ray services and a well stocked Pharmacy 24 hours every day. Recently phase two of the construction was completed providing an additional three wards, six private rooms and many other facilities.
