We are a Christian faith-based Private-Not-For-Profit (PNFP) organization seeking to recruit one medical officer to join our team.
Terms of Service:
– Part-time engagement
– Preferably residing in and around Mukono, Seeta, Bweyogerere, Kireka, or Namugongo
Educational Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB): A degree from a recognized university.
Professional Qualifications
1. Registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council: A valid practicing license.
2. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS): A certification in BLS or Advanced Life Support (ALS) may be required.
Experience
1. Internship: Completion of a one-year internship program.
2. Post-internship experience: At least two years of work experience as a Medical Officer in a reputable hospital or health institution.
Skills and Competencies
1. Clinical skills: Strong clinical skills, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients.
2. Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Leadership and management skills: Ability to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals.
4. Problem-solving and decision-making skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
5. Computer literacy: Familiarity with computer systems and software, including electronic medical records.
Other Requirements
1. Physical and mental fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a Medical Officer.
