We are a Christian faith-based Private-Not-For-Profit (PNFP) organization seeking to recruit one Obs/Gyn Specialist to join our team.
Terms of Service:
– Part-time engagement
– Preferably residing in and around Mukono, Seeta, Bweyogerere, Kireka, or Namugongo
Educational Qualifications
1. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB): A degree from a recognized university.
2. Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology: MMed (Obs/Gyn) from a recognized university.
Professional Qualifications
Registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council: A valid specialist practicing license.
Experience
Post-residency experience: At least 2-3 years of work experience as an Obs/Gyn specialist in a reputable hospital or health institution.
Skills and Competencies
1. Clinical skills: Strong clinical skills in Obs/Gyn, including surgical procedures.
2. Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Leadership and management skills: Ability to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals.
4. Problem-solving and decision-making skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
5. Computer literacy: Familiarity with computer systems and software, including electronic medical records.
Other Requirements
Physical and mental fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of an Obs/Gyn specialist.
